2014 - was a good year for Curved Light Solutions !
Aftertaking a bit of time off I worked on a project for Snow Property Services.  We worked with their existing property management sytem to create a web app back end and a front end IOS/Andriod application for it's employees and HOA associations boards.
This was a great opportunity to get back into mobile + web apps .

Last year was full of learning about mobile app,  HTML5 web apps, and game development.

We had a few false starts / leaning experiences 

Looking ahead 

 

We are working with a property management company to create a custom app that will change how Homeowners Boards operate.

You may have seen one of the many you tube videos where a very young child operates an iPad ( like this 2 yr old ) or similar device.  The potential to use a smartphone and tablet for learning is endless.  Making it fun and engaging for the app user is the challenging part.  Not unlike creating a game that keeps the player coming back to play time and time again.

A long time ago ...

I read somewhere that when you start coding something for the first time your should "Plan to throw the first one away" .  Well  When it came to creating mobile games it may take throwing away a few things.

About a year ago I decided that I would begin developing mobile applications and games. As a long time software developer I spent some time evaluating the different options that were available.

When I reworked this website I decided it was time for a facelift.  This means creating a "Theme" for the content management system.
